The Fellowship of the Ring

This Fall, the Marriage Ministry of Colonial Hills will be offering a 7-week series called The Fellowship of the Ring.  The concept is simple, marriages are more likely to thrive when couples navigate the journey of marriage together.   During this class, you will be connected with 2-4 other couples to explore and discuss best practices of marriage.  Each week will include one Big Idea, one truth or concept that will help strengthen and grow your marriage. Table discussions will help you explore the Big Idea and homework will allow you to apply it to your marriage.

Taking from authors such as Bill Loveless, Anne Trippe, Tim Keller, John Gottman, Dave and Ashley Willis, and Ryan and Selena Frederick, we will discuss topics that will enrich strong marriages, build growing marriages and help marriages that may be struggling.

The classes will be held from Wednesday, October 19th through Wednesday, December 7th.

Topics for this class currently include:

  • How your identity affects your marriage
  • How everyone’s baggage influences their marriage
  • Hot topics such as money, communication, in-laws, and sex
  • Tools you can use to continue the growth of your marriage

This is the first time we have held this class so there is no cost to attend.  However, registration is required by October 17th.
