The first song was sung by Adam.  He saw what God had created for him as a helpmate and immediately broke out in poetry and song.  God gave them purpose, God met their needs, and there was only a childlike exploration of what it meant to belong to God and one another. There was transparency, purpose, and love.  But, it didn’t last forever and the fall affected every relationship man had with his world, his God, and each other.   Adam and Eve became fearful of one another and started hiding, blaming, and manipulating.

But God gave us hope for a restoration of marriage.  He sent His Son, who restored God’s relationship with man and our relationship with one another. In Christ, we are brave, open, vulnerable, and supportive.  So why is marriage still so hard?

Drawing on years of experience and research, members of the Three Strands Ministry team will facilitate a two-day workshop exploring the creation, fall, and restoration of marriage.  We will investigate the Life we can draw from to live within a loving and caring marriage that is mutually supportive, encouraging, and joyful.

While Three Strands Ministry has organized numerous workshops and classes, this will be the first facilitated solely by our team.  As such, the pilot program will be free.  An evening meal on Friday, lunch on Saturday, and childcare for both days are at no cost to you.  However, registration is required by September 7th.
