Date Night Ideas for Any Budget

Need some date night ideas that won’t be too tough on the budget.  Try one or more of these.

Take a walk at dusk in Rose Rudman Park. Talk about the best things in your marriage and each person share one thing they dream of for the future of their marriage.

If you have a pickup truck, take an air mattress and a picnic supper and head to Lookout Point (on Hwy 69 between Tyler & Jacksonville) or any other remote area for some star gazing. (don’t forget the citronella candles!)

Spend an evening at Stanley’s BBQ and enjoy the live music on the patio.

Check Hudnall Planetarium (TJC Campus) and see if they have a show. There is no better way to watch the summer sky than to do so in a building with air conditioning.
